Change in Plans

My daughter felt that after the first lesson, she feels comfortable enough to follow a recipe on her own, but she says she still needs my help.  She wants to make a meatloaf and the only thing she needs help with is cutting the onion.  Tomorrow, I will show her how to chop an onion the correct way.

  2. Isn´t it funny how many people have problems with cutting/chopping onions? The other day, I asked a friend to cut onions and he was amazed and surprised because he was crying. (...) I could tell it was his first time doing it.
Besides that, everybody around me cries when it comes to cutting onions, but me. I don´t know if it´s because i have contact lenses that act like a shield or barrier, but I don´t cry. I wonder if it happens to anybody else.

  3. It is sad to know that people doesn't like to cut onions because they cry when they are cutting it. yes it is true that most people don't like to cut it but some people like cutting it. i personally like to cut onion. i used cry like everyone else when cutting it but it doesn't happen anymore. the more you get use to cutting onions, the less the sulfuric compounds will affect your eyes. these are few tips to help anyone who doesn't like to cut onion because they don't want to cry while cutting it.
    1. run water over the onion while cutting it.
2.turn a fan on if necessary, blowing away from you and across the onion
